      Verdict

      Justanotherbottle has strong claims at the weights having looked as good as ever this term. Oisin McSweeney’s claim is another factor in his favour but Makanah has been running well in some top handicaps and should also be thereabouts. He finished ahead of LAMPANG when seventh in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood in July but the Easterby runner was badly hampered leaving the stalls that day and could be the one to beat on a subsequent third behind the much-improved Manaccan at Ascot. The others pair have little chance on these terms.
