      Verdict

      Ortano looks very moderate and Katebird was still beaten five lengths when second at Catterick. Samran Says drops back in trip after making her debut over 6f and Red Savina looked a tricky customer on her first start, though was very green. It would be no surprise if one of the newcomers proved good enough and the vote goes to David Barron's Zoffany colt LIQUID ahead of Precious Skye and Alicante Dawn.
