Verdict
McEldowney gets the nomination here with Mangrove Cay and Fadael put forward as the two we fear the most. The selection seems to have lost his way a little but he is eased in grade here and we will give one more chance to recoup losses and get his head in front. Mangrove Cay ran really well on his debut at Folkestone and finished well clear of his rivals on the stands side to finish 8th behind Innocent Splendour. He was not given a hard race that day and is worth noting in the market. Fadael has been tried at a variety of trips and has shown a fair level of ability so he remains of interest, but McEldowney looks a cut above his rival on the pick of his form and he is given the tentative vote.
