      Verdict

      Neither Reassert nor Vimy Ridge make much appeal on what they've shown to date, though better is expected from the latter. So one of the newcomers may well prove good enough and Oregon Gift represents last year's winning yard. She's out of a prolific mare while Dominic Cork is related to a couple of 5f winners and makes more appeal than Danot. But PRES RAPIDE is a half-brother to useful winning sprinters Imperial Legend and Hay Chewed and it's John Quinn's colt that gets a speculative vote.
