        Verdict

        Pallas Lord carried over his good form on the all-weather to score at Redcar earlier in the month. He’s preferred to Newcastle winner Saisons D'Or, who hasn’t won on Turf since 2019, and ESPRESSO FREDDO is another without a win on Turf for some time. But the latter finished a close-up fourth when dropped into this grade at Windsor recently and it could be his turn today. Taskheer may improve on his second start gelded while Makeen will be sharper for a recent outing at Leicester.
