      Verdict

      MARBUZET (NAP) beat Bobby Shaftoe, who is best on the all-weather, the long-standing maiden Toutatis and Samurai Sneddz over 1m6f at Carlisle having twice finished close up over this longer trip previously. Tim Easterby’s gelding should shrug off a modest 2lb rise with stamina a concern for Lechro, who only won a seller at Beverley last month. Trailblazer was third off a much higher mark over track and trip in May but is now 0-18.
