In depth
Verdict
Stone Cold should appreciate this step up in trip and the good to soft conditions. He has drop nicely down the weights and looks primed to win his first race since April of last year povided his jumping holds up. Bit O Magic has been running well of late but does not look particularly good mark. However he goes well at this track and he will appreciate the ground. Clear Dawn has taken to chasing well but is still fairly inexperienced. Despite this, his run at this track last time out was a solid effort and if reproducing that effort he should go close to the selection though he may prefer further. Chevalier Bayard will find this ground more to his liking than he encountered last time out and he looks on a winnable mark here. Yankie Lord loves it around this track and has won better races than this in the past. He looks well handicapped but his recent form is not special and he may again struggle here. No Kidding is another who generally runs well here and he dug deep to win here last time out. However he is an in and out performer who may be best watched here with his jockey booking not looking optimistic.
