    Verdict

TBM Can has been given a chance by the handicapper tonight and should prove too good for Oldenway and Call Me Sunshine. Mark Brisbourne's representative paid the penalty for a good season last year and while he has not sparkled this term, the fact he was sent off favourite at Hamilton last time out suggests that he must have been showing something on the gallops. Over his ideal trip and now minus a few pounds on the handicap, tonight could be the night. Oldenway faces a tough task off topweight. He tends to find plenty of trouble in his races and will need to be threaded through at the last minute to make his challenge. Call Me Sunshine ran too badly to be true last time out and may prefer tonight's faster surface. Plutocrat and Untidy Daughter are better known under National Hunt rules these days. Easibet Dot Net is best of the rest but we will stick with TBM Can.
