Verdict
Opt Out is 4lb higher than when successful in a class 5 handicap here in September and this is a slightly better race. L'Ami Louis has had 16 career starts but never raced over this trip. He generally has enough pace to get to the front at some stage and would be a threat if ready after his break. Red Baron has three victories to his name, all over this course and distance. A recent run will have put him straight and Neil Farley's claim will aid his cause. The veteran Moorhouse Lad hasn't won for almost four years and has been getting beaten from this sort of mark on the all-weather while it's nearly two years since Silvanus won a race. LADY IBROX should start a fair price and can reward each-way support. She'll be better for a recent run and contested better class events last season so this could prove within her capabilities.
