Verdict
Any rain would help COOLELLA , though she doesn't mind it good and is selected to get the better of Rescent and Sharp Shoes. Our pick was runner-up over course and distance last time out in what was perhaps a more competitive race than this, and she has gone up 3lbs for that run. However, she is now running in her third handicap and is very much getting the hang of things, so we hope that the return here can be a success. Rescent has been running a bit better than her bare form figures suggest, being beaten just over a length on her last two starts. Her only win was in a claimer over this trip and given her tendency to just come up short we will take her on. Sharp Shoes went well at Warwick over the minimum trip earlier in the month and remains on the same mark. He has the scope to improve, and should act on the ground, so he should be involved. Lord's Seat has been running with credit in defeat and is not discounted, though Coolella is preferred today.
