In depth
Verdict
Red Tarn doesn't look over burdened for his handicap debut and is taken to beat Viscountess and Sweet Mind. The selection made a very pleasing juvenile debut when fourth to horse now rated in the nineties. He didn't appear to improve on that effort in two subsequent outings but that may have been down to the softer ground. As long the rains don't come there shouldn¿t be a problem this afternoon. Viscountess was a major disappointment last time out but her two previous runs were very encouraging and she could go close on her handicap debut. Sweet Mind hails from a yard in tremendous form and should improve for her seasonal bow. The same applies to Mel Brittain's Kingstyle, but Red Tarn may have got in here on a very fair mark and he gets the decision
