Verdict
A small but competitive field goes to post for this seller and the principals look to be Backofthenet, Amber Legend and Blue Moon Hitman and we will take a chance on Amber Legend. The James Given inmate was disappointing last time out but that was on the AW and now he returns to turf he will be hard to beat with conditions in his favour. Backofthenet rates the main danger he is dropping in grade and a reproduction of his latest fifth behind Futoo in a better race would give him definite place claims. Blue Moon Hitman is another that could go well and although he has place claims he has had plenty of chances and for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Of the remainder Emperor Cat is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but we are happy to side with Amber Legend.
