Verdict

LOUGHERMORE had been threatening to get his head in front before doing so at Wetherby on Boxing Day. He’s gone up 6lb for that but has a 7lb claimer on board here and this is certainly no tougher. Taking Flight has been lightly raced but has also been off the track since July and Nicky Richards also saddles Ayr third Serious Ego. Artic Mann won over a longer trip at Kelso and should be thereabouts again, despite stepping up a grade, while Sidi Ismael was still just in front when falling two out here in November but needs some help from the handicapper.
