      Verdict

Handwoven is making hard work of losing his maiden tag after 16 starts. Princess Rose also looks pretty exposed and cut little ice back in maiden company on last month's reappearance. But DANZKI has plenty of scope for improvement and ran his best race so far when stepped up to today's trip at Catterick. He gets the vote ahead of Thorntoun Care, placed in soft ground at Ayr in October. Mowhoob was second over a mile in a handicap here last month but has ran a shocker either side of that.
