Verdict

CHINESE SPIRIT has been threatening to get his head back in front having just missed out the last twice now including over track and trip. Mark Winn’s 3lb allowance may well give him the edge in this. How Bizarre won here last month and has placed off today’s higher mark subsequently while Merricourt is back up in trip having found one too good over 7f here recently. Little Ted ran well over 1m2f at Nottingham last week and is due to be raised 2lb for that better effort.
