In depth
Verdict
Pekanheim’s victory over fences here at the start of the month was not unexpected and he can race off a 3lb lower mark back over hurdles. But this is run over a half-mile shorter trip and Martin Todhunter’s runner may struggle for pace and also finished behind CIVIL UNREST here in January. The latter hasn’t won over hurdles since 2013 but Steven Fox’ claim can help rectify that fact today. Know Your Name and Mitcd look best of the rest ahead of Catchthemoonlight and Marbeth.
