A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be H Harrison, Il Castagno and Benandonner and the tentative vote is given to Il Castagno. The selection was a good second behind Carnivore last time out and with the excellent Patrick McDonald taking off a handy five pounds he looks a value bet. H Harrison rates the main danger on his latest unlucky in running fourth but he is creeping up the weights and from a poor draw again he looks worth taking on. Benandonner is another worthy of respect on his latest third behind European Dream but he is another that looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Hula Ballew is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but this hold up performer will need plenty of luck in running, and with this in mind for the winner we return to Il Castagno.
