Magical Speedfit can end a string of seconds by proving too good for Speed Song and Hold That Call. Magical Speedfit has run with credit all season, the only time he has failed to reach the frame being in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot. A half-brother to Hoh Mike and Hogmaneigh, he will be better served by another furlong in future, but it will be disappointing if he cannot get his head in front at last here. The filly Speed Song is a half-sister to Enticing and is entered for the Lowther Stakes at York, so should at least be capable of building on a promising debut at Nottingham. Sandown third Hold That Call might find the ground too lively, but now qualifies for nurseries and can be followed when going down that route. Any support for Me Me Me should be noted, but the experience of Magical Speedfit can prove decisive.
