Casablanca Minx can make the most of the weight that she receives from Lii Najma, Peppermint Green and Hessian in a moderate-looking contest. No one amongst the holiday crowd at Yarmouth should be under the illusion that there is a good chance of recovering the week's expenses, but a small wager on Casablanca Minx may not go amiss. The David Evans-trained filly has not won on Turf for two years, her latest victories coming on the all-weather. However, she has tumbled down the weights this term, and caught the eye in defeat when sporting a first-time visor at Wolverhampton recently. Off her current mark, she must have a great chance in this class 5 affair. Lii Najma, successful over seven-furlongs on this card 12-months ago, disappointed at Wolverhampton last time and has topweight to overcome, while the nicely-bred Peppermint Green, a daughter of One So Wonderful, makes her handicap bow. Owners Helena Springfield will be keen to see their famous colours in the winner's enclosure to enhance her paddock value, but they may have to wait a bit longer. Jamie Spencer takes over from Hayley Turner on Hessian who will at least be suited by the step up in trip, but Casablanca Minx is much more experienced and may be the one to side with on this occasion at least.
