        Verdict

        Zeimaam was narrowly beaten for the third time in succession when second at Beverley and looks worth taking on with MARKAZI (NAP). The latter finally took advantage of a tumble down the weights when scoring easily over course and distance and has won off higher marks in the past. Clay Regazzoni finished behind the selection last time having won over a mile earlier with Mikmak back in fourth. The latter has twice won over the same trip subsequently while Merricourt’s earlier double also came over a mile. Royal Regent won over today’s trip at Ayr but that was in a lower grade and on soft ground.
