        Verdict

        Manjaam was beaten less than a length in a ladies’ race at Carlisle at the start of the month and is only a pound higher but finished behind Gift Of Raaj earlier at York. Roger Fell’s stayer didn’t give his true running that day and may well bounce back here. Idilico was only fourth in that Carlisle race but has since won over hurdles and he makes more appeal than the maiden Two Auld Pals, who will have stamina to prove. WISE EAGLE is back in this grade for the first time since winning at Newcastle in March when 3lb higher so the top weight looks a threat to all.
