Verdict
A very open-looking finale. Muntadab isn’t getting any younger but drops down a grade and is one of four previous course and distance winners. Global Humor has won over the trip but mostly runs in sprints nowadays. Mi Capricho and stablemate Gometra Ginty are both entitled to respect but the latter was behind Merricourt here two runs ago and also looks held by Iris Dancer on the form book. The three-year-olds BICEP and Jilly Cooper both carry penalties for victories here last week. The former may be the most progressive so gets the vote.
