Verdict
The shortlist here consists of Rothesay Dancer, Mimiteh and Northern Chorus, with the vote going to the first-named. The best of Rothesay Dancer's form, including when second over course and distance two runs ago, would give her a good shout today, and she gets the nod. Mimiteh showed improved form on her latest start when finishing second at Epsom. Much as that was not a great race, she should be able to play a prominent part today. Northern Chorus also gets a solid mention after his staying-on fourth at Carlisle last time, while Kayrati was just in front of Northern Chorus when they met on that horse's debut, so he too gets a mention. James Given's newcomer Luloah is one to watch in the betting but, for the selection, we will stick with Rothesay Dancer.
