Verdict

Allow Me has gone close on both starts since returning from injury. His latest second over 2m here came in decent novice company but he has a further half-mile to travel today and the less-exposed EBANOUR is narrowly preferred. A decent bumper, he wasn't beaten far when third on his hurdling debut at Southwell and will know more today. Glasson Lad would probably have finished second for the third time in a row at Sedgefield last time had he not come to grief and should be contesting the places again with dual Flat winner Muwalla.
