Verdict
Recent runner up Mary Gray is taken to go one better here, with Full As A Rocket and Toss The Caber also expected to make their mark. Mark Johnston's four-year-old had shown very little before chasing home Rare Coincidence at Hamilton last week. The trainer brings her out again very quickly, which in itself suggests a she is at the top of her game and she looks worth following. Toss The Caber has come up against two in form performers in Whoopsie and Mceldowney recently and hasn't been beaten far. He is getting no help from the handicapper but should still be involved in the finish. Full As A Rocket was a decent enough bumper horse and ran well in a competitive handicap at the end of last season. If continuing the progress he should be in the shake up. The pick of the remainder could be Tojoneski, but if Mary Gray can repeat last week's effort she should take first prize today.
