Verdict
Dunaskin can give Karen McLintock the perfect start to her training career, with Rehearsal, Hue and Thistle out to spoil the script. Dunaskin was a much-improved sort on the level last year, when his wins included a valuable handicap at York, and he looks just the sort to follow over timber. Those successes were overseen by Don Eddy, but his former assistant Karen McLintock will mastermind the five-year-old's jumps career, and as Tony McCoy has been booked to ride, we can assume that he is expected to make an immediate impact. The son of Bahhare should have too much speed for his rivals here and can get his trainer off the mark. Rehearsal came up against a smart sort in Credit here last time, and the latter's stablemate Thistle will be no pushover as the rest vie for the places. Hue was disappointing behind Credit and will have to improve to take a hand, while any money for ex-German Adio should be noted. However, we will be surprised if Dunaskin does not go in first time before going on to better things.
