Another tricky puzzle to solve but Wot A Shot was back on song here last time and does his best work on the track. THE CHARACTER should be approaching peak fitness and is another previous course and distance winner. He could be the value though Royal Reserve beat a subsequent winner at Newcastle and jockey bookings suggest he’s the pick of Lucinda Russell’s two runners ahead of Kelpies Myth. Great Colaci hasn’t run over hurdles since July but was second on Tapeta 12 days ago and will enjoy conditions. Sword Of Fate won three times over fences last year but showed little on his debut for new connections.
