In depth

Verdict

Killer Crow finished ahead of favourite Gran Paradiso and Special Wells when second in a Mens Open at Friars Haugh last month and Nick Alexander’s charge has a good chance of going one better in this. But preference is for FLYING EAGLE, who mounts a northern raid having come up short when favourite in a point in south Wales three weeks ago but did at least show he was no back number.
