Verdict

Operateur arrives in the form of his life but complicates matters as he was odds-on to land an amateurs race at Hamilton yesterday. Whether he takes part or not, it could pay to stick with the late developing RONALD GEE anyway. Jim Goldie's charge was making his handicap debut at the age of seven when second to Lysino over track and trip last time and there should be more to come from him. He finished a street ahead of third-placed Grand Diamond and Rocky Two looks a bigger threat having won over 1m5f here last month.
