Verdict

It's a surprise to see Chevalier du Lac racing in this lowly grade as he's won easily at Wetherby and performed with credit at a higher level. He has to concede weight all round but should make a bold bid to do so. He has the beating of Eva Gore on their recent run at Hamilton but Benidiction has improved with each run and was only caught in the closing stages in a claimer at Beverley. This won't take much winning so she should be in the shake-up but FRANCA FLORIO is the least exposed of those with experience and could be better than this class. She made her debut in a York novices' event where she didn't get the best of runs and wasn't given a hard time so, with that under her belt, this could be her day.
