Iris Dancer hasn’t been disgraced in two starts since winning art Ripon off a 5lb lower mark and goes on the shortlist in a weak finale. Harswell Prince swerved leaving the stalls last time at Catterick and never figured. He finished well behind Emirati Dirham but was eased considerably in the closing stages and the application of blinkers can help him overturn that form with John Quinn’s runner. MORTY is less exposed, however, and he had a bit in hand when getting off the mark at Ripon four weeks ago – he looks well drawn hear the stands rail. Rory and Lola Rebel both make their handicap debut but the later is having a first run for a new yard.
