        Verdict

        Hurstwood returned to winning ways at Ripon recently when the first three home were all drawn low while Quanah placed in soft going at the same track. SHACKABOOAH has been threatening to open his account and, having been beaten less than a length over track and trip on his penultimate start, Scott Dixon’s charge gets the vote. Last Date won over 7f on the all-weather back in April and Impeller won at Southwell in the same month but they are opposable back on Turf.
