        Verdict

        Ballyhurry flew home at Ayr last time and is fancied to follow up, with no end of dangers such as Fiveoclock Express, H Harrison and King Harson. Ballyhurry was given a great ride by Liam Keniry to get up in the dying strides and beat Will He Wish by a head at the Scottish track, and although having it do at the weights with Flur Na H Alba on earlier running, must be fancied to gain the day if in the same mood. Fiveoclock Express will benefit from the drop back in trip after failing to see out the mile at Yarmouth, while H Harrison was also in action at the seaside track last time, landing an apprentice affair for which he receives no penalty. Mandarin Spirit's hat-trick bid ended with an unlucky run behind Compton Eclipse at Newbury and he will be fancied to turn the tables on that rival here. There are many in with chances, but in a wide open event, Ballyhurry gets the vote, with Willie Supple on board for the first time.
