In depth

Verdict

Chief Craftsman returns from a break but was a winner over this trip at Thirsk in September. Ruth Carr’s stable has yet to his form but Mutamaded has placed the last twice, though was a place behind PROPRIETY when David O’Meara’s recent acquisition was only reeled in close home by the in-form G For Gabrial at Beverley. The Cheveley Park filly has been very lightly raced and is probably only now starting to fulfil her potential. Smart Lass likes it here but, like winning hurdler Le Magnifique and Three Castles, probably needs further nowadays.
