Verdict

KASHMIR PEAK made a winning debut over hurdles when scoring by nine lengths at Market Rasen earlier this month. The Irish import looks the one to beat on that evidence. Asteroid Belt is a maiden hurdle winner at Wetherby but was still beaten 11 lengths when runner-up over C&D last time and the remainder are all making their hurdling debuts. Hallmark Star and Docs Legacy are the highest rated of them on the Flat with the latter having his first start for Lucinda Russell but racecourse debutant Ferndale is not easily dismissed as she's a half-sister to a couple of hurdle winners.
