      Verdict

      Chief Justice went close on several occasions last year including at York in September and has been gelded since. But he has 8lb to find on these terms with a similar type in QUEEN’S SARGENT, who also finished runner-up at York last season and was gelded during the interim. Kevin Ryan’s charge gets the vote given Farhh Away, On A May Day and Party Fears Too have shown little so far and the newcomer Hop Maddocks will need to be above average to figure on his debut.
