Verdict

AUGUSTE RODIN, by Deep Impact out of the brilliant Rhododendron, is likely to start a warm order after finishing runner-up to Crypto Force at the Curragh though the winner, who was then sold for £900,000, did nothing for the form at Ascot. Shadowed, who was two lengths behind the selection at the Curragh, ran green throughout and is entitled to get much closer as is Dubawi Spectre, who was only a short-head back in fourth having weakened in the closing stages after leading 2f out. Yamazaki did nothing wrong at Fairyhouse and will have come on for the experience while Aidan O'Brien saddles an intriguing newcomer in the shape of Ballsbridge, by the brilliant Japan sprinter Lord Kanaloa out of dual Group 1 winner Happily and he has Group 1 entries.
