Aidan O'Brien won this a year ago with Queen of Spain and today's representative, Chieftess, will have learned plenty on her debut behind Yellow Rosebud at Leopardstown. LADY WINGSHOT was made favourite to land a maiden at the Curragh last month but couldn't quite cope with the Ballydoyle pair After and Taigan though she showed enough promise to suggest she would take the world of beating on her next start. Lady Rochford, who finished sixth, wasn't far away and can get closer as she didn't enjoy the best of breaks before staying on late. Dermot Weld's newcomer Madhmoonah is the first foal of a mare who was a useful winner at around a mile so she should have enough pace but the one to keep an eye on here is Aloof, a daughter of Galileo out of the brilliant sprinter Airwave.
