Jukebox Jive came here for the first time a year ago and went away with this nice prize. He had a run in the Cesarewitch at Newmarket last month and will be ready for this. Royal Illusion started favourite a year ago but didn’t appear to enjoy the heavy conditions and was beaten 11 lengths. Shanroe scored over the trip at Killarney from a subsequent winner but has been hit with a 14lb rise while HAPARANDA is up 10lb for a very convincing victory at Leopardstown. The latter looks progressive enough to shrug off the rise, however, though there are numerous dangers including Camorra, who was behind Shanroe at Killarney but won very easily at Leopardstown next time. Cerberus and Run For Mary are others to consider in a wide-open event.
