Inner Voice has been running reasonably well but a big weight in testing ground doesn't bode well for his chances. Old Theatre Royal scored at Ballinrobe in September and ran very well behind Vinnie at Sligo subsequently. He ran poorly when a strong favourite at Wexford last time and the handicapper may have hold of him. Paul Townend was on board SHAHRAFI for the first time when the four-year-old produced his best run over timber behind Turner Brown at Punchestown last month. The partnership is renewed here and trainer Tom Gibney can end a long losing spell under Rules though he had a winner between the flags last month. With Speed appears to need further while it's difficult to fancy Cantrell despite his liking for this course as he's still a maiden after 27 starts.
