A very interesting beginners' event with BACARDYS looking an exciting prospect for chasing. A Grade 2 winning bumper, he won the Deloitte Novice Hurdle at Leopardstown before being badly impeded and pulled up in the Neptune at Cheltenham. He proved himself a high-class hurdler when beating Finian's Oscar in the Champion Novices' Hurdle at Punchestown and can make a successful start to his new career. De Plotting Shed will be no pushover having already had experience over fences at Galway which will stand him in good stead. He had Jett eight lengths behind when landing a novice hurdle here a year ago but was receiving weight from Snow Falcon when beaten at Navan a couple of weeks later. Noel Meade's charge, narrowly beaten into third behind Yanworth in the Liverpool Hurdle, looks another smart recruit to the chasing ranks.
