Verdict

Mayor's Walk landed a point in March and was impressive on his hurdling debut at Listowel and Rachael rides rather than the filly Pastorale, a winner over fences on heavy going at Pau in January. Smooth Tom has had a run on the Flat since a winning hurdles debut at Listowel. He'll need to improve in this better company but should do so though Gordon Elliott could have a smart one on his hands in GOLDEN JOY (NAP). He was an impressive debut winner on heavy going at Auteuil in April and normal progress can see him remain unbeaten. Hypotenus is an obvious threat having won a Gowran maiden by 15 lengths.
