This looks a stronger than average mares' maiden with ROYAL ILLUSION taken to get the better of some potentially smart opposition. A dual bumper winner and three times successful on the Flat, she was narrowly beaten in the Irish November Handicap here last month and can see off the challenge of Castra Vetera, the winner of three out of four bumpers including a Navan Listed contest last time. Delvino easily won a Down Royal bumper in March while Roseys Hollow won a Cork bumper on her debut and ran well on her hurdling bow at Leopardstown in March.
