A low-grade handicap with nothing standing out but if WEIHNACHTS could replicate his run at Wexford in March from the same mark he could land the spoils for J P McManus and Mark Walsh. Espion Du Chenet ran easily his best race to date over fences at Thurles last month and wouldn't need much more while American Image gained his first success on his 22nd starts at Clonmel and a 5lb rise isn't excessive though runner-up Cluan Dara has since pulled up. The Chapel Field scored at Thurles last month though ran moderately here next time but Shopping Around completed a double over hurdles in the spring and has come up against stiff opposition in two starts over timber.
