In depth

Verdict

Joseph O'Brien has a strong hand here with Visualisation and Hype. The former is on a hat-trick after following a Dundalk victory with a smooth debut success on Turf at Gowran though has been hit with an 11lb rise. The latter hasn't run since landing a Dundalk maiden in October but his breeding suggests he should do even better in his second campaign. Vocito, a winner over 1m2f at Cork last month, almost made it a double when tackling this trip at Killarney but was caught close home. DIDEROT showed the benefit of an earlier run at Dundalk by landing a maiden there in March and the form has worked out well. He can complete a double though the very expensive Khartoum, a Curragh maiden winner, didn't do himself justice in the Craven Stakes where he finished last. Laelaps and Cosmic Vega give Jessica Harrington a strong hand in a tricky handicap.
