It took a while for War Leader to get up to speed but he was only beaten a short-head by Sailing South at Listowel nine days ago. Recall The Show has placed the last twice, at Down Royal and the Curragh, but has only raced over 7f so far. Koolasice showed plenty of promise at Cork and, with almost certainly more to come, looks a threat to all but there are one or two nicely-bred newcomers in this. Joseph O’Brien introduces King Of Stars and SHOOTING SPIRIT with the latter likely to prove speedy given he’s by Lope De Vega out of an Exceed And Excel mare. Free Treaty is a half-brother to two winners but has an outside draw and will probably need further.
