Verdict

FINEST, from the first crop of The Gurkha, will have come on a bundle for last week's introduction at the Curragh and that experience can give her the edge. The winner of that race was trained by Jessica Harrington, who has Sussex Garden engaged here. A daughter of Acclamation out of a mare who produced a 7f winner with her first offspring, she'll know her job and can get into contention. Johnny Murtagh's horses are going well so the speedily-bred Perfect Sign is one to note but Hazel should stay much further. Allagar couldn't get close to the leaders in her opening run over 5f here but that looked a stronger than usual maiden for the track and she was staying on.
