      Verdict

      Eastern Voice was a 33/1 chance over the track and trip a couple of weeks ago but belied his odds with a cracking effort. He didn't quite get the run of the race and will be difficult to keep out of the frame and the form received a huge boost when fifth-placed Battleground won at Ascot on Thursday. The latter is trained by Aidan O'Brien, who has two here. MILITARY STYLE is by War Front out of Group 1 winner Together Forever, who produced a two-year-old winner with her first foal. Seamie Heffernan rides which suggests he's more forward than the 260,000gns yearling Mexico City, though the latter has several winning juveniles in his pedigree. Hale Bopp should have plenty of pace while Collective Power is by the sprinter Slade Power out of a 6f winner.
