In depth
Verdict
Johnny Murtagh's yard continues in sparkling form and Fanveil's Legacy will improve from her debut at Fairyhouse where she didn't get the run of the race. Memory Motel was by no means disgraced in what looked a strong Curragh maiden but Gwan So looked as though he needed another furlong at Fairyhouse. Recurrent Dream is related to three winners though was cheaply bought. HMS ENDEAVOUR, a son of War Front, is the first foal of a mare who won five Grade 1 races in the USA and will be expected to make a successful debut. I Am Joking, a half-brother to a winner in the USA, cost $75,000 as a yearling but double that at the Tatts Breeze-up in April so must have impressed.
