In depth

Verdict

Jessica Harrington won this last year and Dickiedooda is top rated here though his best runs, including both victories, have been over the minimum. Older horses have a decent record in the race and Back To Brussels is a consistent performer at this level while the Ballydoyle pair, Elizabethan and More Beautiful, have been running well without quite suggesting they are up to Listed level. Russian River is another who needs to step up and he was behind Sister Rosetta at Dundalk last November, though the latter hasn't quite fulfilled expectations. TERESA MENDOZA couldn't handle very soft conditions at Deauville but her earlier second behind Romantic Proposal at the Curragh would put her in the frame so she gets the nod.
